We do not provide onsite registration. Registration is online only. Please do not show up without registering or we will have to turn you away.

Since Alive's inaugural youth rally in 2009, our purpose has been to help young people develop a bond between them and God that is unbreakable, and to help them realize that life is not a life at all without Christ. We hope that you will join us for this life changing experience.

Alive Youth Rally is a fully supported ministry of the Spartanburg Seventh-day Adventist Church and endorsed by the Carolina Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

On Saturday, March 5, 2022 the Spartanburg Seventh-day Adventist Church will be holding its 14th annual Alive Youth Rally for young people ages 13+. The event will begin with onsite packet pick-up at 8 AM on March 5, 2022. Registration is online only, here on this website. We will be capping registration at 250 people, also depending on the current circumstances surrounding COVID. We will close registration on March 1 or when we reach capacity, whichever comes first. We cannot accept registrations after registration is closed.

This year we will be providing food for all registered attendees for free.

PLEASE NOTE: You can bring your own food if you do not prefer what we serve. However, you will not have access to the kitchen nor are you allowed to plug in crock pots or any other electrical appliances.

The first session will start at 10 AM Sabbath morning, and our last meeting will conclude Saturday night, which may be followed by an activity game with prizes. You can sign up to be a part of the game when you arrive, and an awesome grand prize would be awarded to the winner.

If you are able, we do suggest a donation of $5 per person to help us with expenses of the event. You can donate during online registration or bring it with you. The first 50 youth to register online and attend will receive a free Alive t-shirt upon arrival and the next 50 to register will receive an Alive Youth Rally mask.

This year’s Alive Youth Rally is on Saturday only. If you are a youth group (no individual registrants) and are traveling far distances and want to wake up onsite, we will allow you to arrive on Friday night, no later than 11pm. An important point to consider is that there are no showers available. Also, there will be a continental breakfast on Sabbath morning for those staying overnight. If you are wanting to spend the night on Saturday night too, we will allow that for those registered groups that travel from a far distance. There will be no breakfast on Sunday morning. We do have plenty of camping space in the field if you would rather bring your tent. We also have a list of hotels close to the church on our website in case you and your group or family wish to stay in one of them.

We will have volunteers and sponsors at the event to help supervise, however we do ask that you bring your own chaperones with you, as we ask that no one under the age of 18 be unsupervised. Any individual registrant under the age of 18 must have their parent/guardian fill out the Alive 2022 Activity/Emergency Contact Form located on the Resources page. All registered groups need to provide their own chaperones.

(1) If you are planning to bring a group and stay overnight and you have both boys and girls, you are required to bring male and female chaperones to supervise your youth.
(2) If your 13th birthday is after the Alive weekend, you are allowed to attend, given that your birthday is within a month. Otherwise, anyone under age 13 must be always with an adult.

Worship music is provided by Engage Ministries - A ministry team sponsored by the Enrollment Services Dept. at Southern Adventist University. Engage helps with Youth Rallies, church services, worship gatherings and other events, mostly throughout the Southeastern United States.
