FAQs for Alive
This year we are going back to Friday night and all day Saturday instead of a one-day event. See the Event Schedule on the Event Information Page.
Registrants staying overnight will sleep in their tents in the field.
The 2023 Alive Youth Rally will be March 3-4 on the campus of the Spartanburg Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Free registration is only available online on this website. There is no onsite registration.
Awesome! Welcome to the Alive Youth Rally. We will see you at Alive on the campus of the Spartanburg Seventh-day Adventist Church.
We will follow up with additional emails as we get closer to Alive. Please add info@alivesc.com to your contacts to help prevent the communication going to your spam folder.
Registration ends when we reach 500 registrants or on February 28, 2023. Whichever comes first.
We cannot accept registrations after registration is closed and will have to turn people away who show up without registering.
If you just need to add more registrants, fill out the group registration again with only the additional names and we will connect the dots.
If some of the youth you registered are not coming, but you are adding more - fill out the group registration form with the additional names and list those names who need to be removed in the comments section of the form.
If you just want to remove names from your list, send us an email at info@alivesc.com with those names and we will get that changed.
YES! Everyone staying overnight have to sleep in tents (you provide) in the softball field. All tents must be supervised by a chaperone that you bring. Male and females are not allowed in the same tent unless you are a family or married.
We are also working on securing a shower trailer.
In case of inclement weather, the emergency backup plan would be that we would accommodate overnight guests inside the buildings, separated into either groups or by male/female.
Well that's a bummer! Make sure you look at your spam folder too.

Contact us and let us know and we will investigate.
We recommend for every 3-4 youth that you have one adult present to chaperone them. Please don't have more adults than youth in your group. Registering more adults means that less youth get to attend. If we feel you have too many adults in your group, we will contact you and let you know.
If you are planning to bring a group and you have both boys and girls, you are required to bring male and female chaperones to supervise your youth.
All groups must be chaperoned by your group adults at all times. In the event you are not able to stay onsite with your youth because of certain circumstances and you have to be in a hotel, contact us about it so we can understand this better. We have a recommended list of hotels on our website.
You must chaperone your own youth group. Alive, nor the Spartanburg Seventh-day Adventist Church, can serve as a chaperone for children at the facility.
Remember that this is a youth rally geared towards high school youth. Age requirements are 13+. The environment does not support small children running around on their own.
If children are present under the age of 13 and come with a group or family, they are not to ever be left alone without an adult by their side. We strictly enforce this for the safety of your children. No exceptions.
We are not able to change the menu for your special dietary needs. Your best option is to bring your own food in a cooler. You will not have access to the kitchen, nor access to electrical outlets.
The food we will serve will be vegetarian. We will have a vegan option for lunch on Saturday.
